Written for everyone — no technical background needed, nothing hidden, this is the whole story.

What auto does today

The automation tool catches digs on its own, at any hour — including 4 am while its owner sleeps. It can be tuned to not look instant, and after every dig it catches, it drops an emoji on the broadcast — that's not a person saying thanks, that's the costume. The emoji is there to make it look like someone is online.

What it still can't do

Two small things, and they matter:

  • it can't like a chat message — the 👍 that takes one tap;
  • it can't send a sticker — any sticker, from the sticker picker.

Every version of the tool in the field, as of today. Those two things still need a real person.

So the alliance runs two tiny rules

  1. Sticker Salute — after a dig you claim, drop any sticker on your own dig message within 10 minutes. Any sticker. Takes five seconds.
  2. The Like — dig credit locks in when you like the dig post (👍, not an emoji).

Both rules apply to absolutely everyone, from the newest member to R5, starting the same day. If leadership is ever exempt, that gets agreed and posted before the rule starts — no quiet exceptions.

Breaking a rule is not an accusation

It doesn't mean anyone thinks you're using auto. It means one thing and one thing only: the rule wasn't followed. The consequence is small and automatic: a one-day break from the alliance. You come back the next day, and you get thoroughly (and deservedly) mocked for getting yourself benched. That's it. No investigation, no stigma, no hard feelings — the banter is part of the design.

If an officer asks you to record a dig

It's a compliment, not an accusation: "you've been unreal this week — record your screen and show us how you're catching them." If your speed is genuine, the recording shows it off beautifully — natural taps, a few misses, real rhythm. Show it proudly. Teach us.

Why we bother

Digs are supposed to be the alliance's favorite minute of the evening — for the people playing with their hands. The rules exist so that stays true. That's the whole policy.

Questions → your R4.
